Rob is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner and has earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® professional designation from Fiduciary 360, receiving formal training in investment fiduciary responsibility. He also obtained a Certificate in Financial Planning from Boston University and holds FINRA Series 65 certification.
Rob graduated cum laude from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in 1997 with a degree in Business Administration concentrating in Financial Management. Rob believes in giving back to the community. He currently serves on the Cuesta College Foundation Board as well as their Finance Committee, the French Hospital Medical Center Foundation Finance Committee, and on the Board of Directors for Community Action Partnership of San Luis Obispo, CAPSLO. As a veteran, he has been a member of the American Legion Post 66 for over 20 years.
Rob lives in Templeton, with his beautiful wife, Deb, his two sons, Brandon and Jakeb, and their golden-doodle, Jack. The Garcia family is often found on the tennis court or headed out for a camping trip.
Chief Investment Officer and Wealth Advisor
Carolyn Herzog is a Chartered Financial Analyst® charterholder, as well as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner. Carolyn earned a BA in Philosophy and Economics from Tufts University and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.
Prior to becoming a financial advisor in 2016, Carolyn worked for over 15 years in the Financial Services industry. Most recently, Carolyn was Vice President within the Investment Group at Capital Group Companies where she managed approximately $1 billion in assets.
Carolyn feels fortunate to be a part of the wonderful San Luis Obispo community. She has taught courses as an Adjunct Professor at the Orfalea College of Business at Cal Poly and is also a member of the SLO Community Foundation’s Investment Committee, as well as the French Hospital Foundation Board. Additionally, Carolyn currently serves as the Treasurer of the Board for the Downtown SLO Association.
Carolyn lives in the San Luis Obispo with her daughter, Cora. She loves hiking, paddle boarding, reading, running, and peering into tide pools with Cora.
Ali, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, holds FINRA Series 65 certification. Ali enjoys working closely with our clients and assisting them through our unique financial planning process. She is currently studying and working towards becoming a CFP® Professional to further support our clients’ financial planning needs.
Ali graduated from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. As a student of Psychology, Ali quickly learned that it had broad application for many different industries and across all facets of life. In her role with financial planning, Ali enjoys learning about what motivates our clients, and applying that to support their ultimate financial goals.
Ali grew up here on the Central Coast and decided to return after going away for college for the much missed small-town feel. Forever a Bruin fan, Ali represents the UCLA spirit in our office. Having been to quite a few destinations already, Ali is passionate about traveling to new places to experience different cultures. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, running, and soaking in all that the Central Coast has to offer.
Financial Planning Associate
Spencer serves as a Financial Planning Associate with Corvus Wealth Advisors and holds FINRA Series 65 certification. Spencer enjoys providing warm and friendly service to our clients as he loves getting to know new people.
Spencer graduated Magna Cum Laude from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in 2021, with a Bachelor of Science in Economics – Financial Management. During his time as an Economics and Finance student, Spencer realized the complexity and difficulty in navigating the world of finance which made him decide to dedicate his career to helping people navigate that complexity. While new to the finance industry, Spencer gained a wide range of experience in roles such as a Taco Bell Charity Ambassador, Cal Poly Student Fundraising Associate, and Research/Teacher’s Assistant.
Aligning with his extremely active personality, Spencer enjoys anything and everything that the Central Coast has to offer. Some of his favorite pastimes currently include fishing, running, mountain biking, camping, and driving up the Pacific Coast Highway. As a Southern California native, he is excited that he still has plenty to explore in the coming years.

Among her many duties as Chief Administrative Officer at Corvus Wealth Advisors, Darla manages the firm’s custodial relationships and plays a key role in operations, compliance, and technology. With over two decades in customer service, Darla is highly proficient and prides herself on providing exceptional and friendly service to all our clients.
Darla attended University of California, Riverside and majored in Criminal Justice. Upon exiting college, she started her career working for Huntington Beach Police Department as a Police Analyst. After 7 years of public service, Darla relocated to the Central Coast to start a new journey with her husband and young family, and began her journey into the world of finance.
Today, Darla and her husband Ron live in Templeton and have three daughters, Amber, Tiffany and Alysa. Darla and Ron enjoy the beauty of the great outdoors, spending time with family and friends and especially being grandparents to their three grandsons, Dylan, Klay, and Hunter.

Arianna, our Client Service Associate, is one of the friendly voices you will hear first when calling our office. Arianna came to Corvus Wealth Advisors with an extensive background in administrative support and human resources across multiple fields including leisure, maintenance, and faith-based organizations. Arianna prides herself on providing personalized and professional service to our clients.
Arianna moved to the central coast a decade ago with her family and spent many years volunteering and working with kids, whether it was as a swim coach in Morro Bay or serving as a Den Leader for Cub Scouts. Additionally, Arianna enjoys serving in community outreach through her local church.
Arianna lives with her beloved husband Matthew, and her two sons, Isaac and Gavin. She can often be found indoors with either her nose in a book or baking delicious confections in the kitchen. Outside, Arianna loves hiking, camping, and exploring with her family. Arianna is passionate about traveling and adventure, with her all-time favorite destination being New Zealand.
RETIREMENT PLAN ADVISOR
Stephanie, our Retirement Plan Advisor, acts as the lead advisor guiding our many corporate retirement plan sponsors and participants. Stephanie holds NAPA’s Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor, CPFA, designation, and FINRA Series 65 certification.
Stephanie graduated from Boise State University with a Bachelor of Science in both Political Science and Finance. After graduation, Stephanie had the pleasure to live in Brisbane, Australia for 5 years and has a unique perspective on international finance from working in the Australian Financial sector. Stephanie has many community interests, including her involvement with the Templeton Chamber of Commerce board. She has a passion for educating, and supports the United Way, teaching the Money Talks for Teens, a financial literacy program at local high schools.
Stephanie has competed in the grueling Tough Mudder races to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project, a charity she is passionate about. In addition to appreciating her community, she enjoys watching football, volunteering, and traveling. Stephanie lives in Templeton with her husband, Clayton, her dogs, Ari & Traveler, as well as her cat, Audi.

Chris, our Retirement Plan Associate, holds NAPA’s Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor, CPFA, designation and FINRA Series 65 certification. Chris enjoys providing thorough support and assistance to our corporate retirement plan partners as well as plan participants.
Chris graduated from California State University, Sacramento (CSUS), with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. During his time in college, Chris developed a particular interest in the relationships between economic theory and personal finance. He believes the strength of our economy resides in small businesses and is excited to apply his education in supporting our clients’ well-being.
Chris enjoys hiking and exploring all the beautiful areas of the Central Coast with his wife, Bre. His two passions outside of work are golf and aviation. In pursuit of his hobbies, Chris is a licensed pilot and also spends time volunteering and teaching others to love the great game of golf.
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
With over 20 years in business management, Giselle serves as our Director of Operations. Giselle focuses on business system organization, personnel management, and exceptional client experience. Giselle enjoys getting to work closely with all members of our team and organizing business systems to maximize service and efficiency.
Giselle graduated cum laude from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts in English. She spent many years working in business operations for an international education company, specializing in customizing operations to exceed client expectations.
Giselle is a local on the Central Coast and lives in Templeton with her husband, Paul, two children, Ben and Anna, and two very energetic golden retrievers. Giselle loves to cook as well as write about her baking journey, among other topics. She also loves to read, spend time with her family and friends, and has recently begun to explore photography.
