Rob Garcia is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ who is passionate about helping clients gain clarity and confidence in their financial lives. With over two decades of experience, Rob is known for building long-term relationships rooted in trust, empathy, and personalized guidance. He believes that financial planning is more than numbers—it’s about giving clients the peace of mind to focus on what truly matters in life.
Rob earned his degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Financial Management from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. He is deeply committed to serving his community and currently serves on the Cuesta College Foundation Board and its Finance Committee, as well as the Finance Committee for Community Action Partnership of San Luis Obispo (CAPSLO), and the Board and Finance Committee for the Community Foundation of San Luis Obispo County. A proud US Army veteran, Rob has been a member of American Legion Post 66 for over 30 years.
Rob lives in Templeton with his wife, Deb, and their two sons, Brandon and Jakeb. The Garcia family enjoys spending time on the tennis court, hitting the ski slopes, camping and fishing, and exploring the outdoors with their two dogs—Jack (M) and Charlee (F). Whether guiding clients through complex financial decisions or giving back to his community, Rob leads with care, integrity, and a strong sense of purpose.

CHIEF INVESTMENT OFFICER AND WEALTH ADVISOR
Carolyn Herzog is a Chartered Financial Analyst® charterholder, as well as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner. Carolyn earned a BA in Philosophy and Economics from Tufts University and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.
Prior to becoming a financial advisor in 2016, Carolyn worked for over 15 years in the Financial Services industry. Most recently, Carolyn was Vice President within the Investment Group at Capital Group Companies, where she managed approximately $1 billion in assets.
Carolyn feels fortunate to be a part of the wonderful San Luis Obispo community. She has taught courses as an Adjunct Professor at the Orfalea College of Business at Cal Poly and is also a member of Cal Poly Partners' Investment Advisory Committee and the Cal Poly Finance Advisory Board. Carolyn is also the chair of the French Hospital Foundation Board and on the Downtown SLO Association’s Finance Committee.
Carolyn lives in San Luis Obispo with her daughter, Cora. She loves hiking, paddle boarding, reading, running, and peering into tide pools with Cora.
WEALTH ADVISOR
Brynne Speizer is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner and earned an MBA in Social Impact Management from the Heller School at Brandeis University and a BA from Wellesley College. She also completed a Certificate in Personal Financial Planning from UC Berkeley Extension. She is honored to work with clients at every life-stage and seeks to guide clients through comprehensive financial planning.
Before becoming a financial advisor, Brynne spent 15 years as a nonprofit fundraiser, securing resources for organizations dedicated to public education and financial literacy. Her work with donors, foundations, corporations, government, and community partners gave her a deep appreciation for the power of aligning dollars with purpose—something she now helps her clients achieve in their own financial lives.
Brynne serves on the board of Friends of 40 Prado, supporting San Luis Obispo’s homeless services shelter. She is also an active explorer of the Central Coast, whether that’s hiking local trails, playing (or recovering from playing) Ultimate Frisbee, flowing through yoga, or planning her next adventure abroad. A lifelong lover of language, she dabbles in French, Spanish, and Hebrew.
She credits her niece and nephew with inspiring her to be the best version of herself—and they often remind her that optimum financial plans, like full lives, should strike a balance between responsibility and joy.

WEALTH ADVISOR
Ali, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, holds North American Securities Administrators Association (NASAA) Series 65 certification. Ali enjoys working closely with our clients, getting to know their aspirations, and helping them achieve those goals through our engaging financial planning process.
Ali graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. As a student of Psychology, Ali quickly learned that it had broad applications for many different industries and across all facets of life, including her career here. While you may not think of Psychology when you first think of Finance, Ali enjoys the unique perspective it provides into how one's thoughts can influence one's behaviors and ultimately being able to relate to our clients.
Ali grew up here on the Central Coast and decided to return after going away for college for the much missed small-town feel. Forever a Bruin fan, Ali represents the UCLA spirit in our office. Having been to quite a few destinations already, Ali is passionate about traveling to new places to experience different cultures. Ali enjoys spending quality time with her husband, James, and their energetic golden retriever, Kinley, family, and friends, and soaking in all that the Central Coast has to offer.

ASSOCIATE ADVISOR
Spencer Rhode is an Associate Advisor with Corvus Wealth Advisors and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner and holds the NASAA Series 65 license. He works closely with the advisory team to develop, implement, and maintain personalized financial planning and investment strategies for clients. Spencer has a particular interest in complex estate planning matters and tax-efficient planning strategies. He is passionate about helping clients make thoughtful, informed decisions in areas that often feel overwhelming or complex.
Spencer earned his Bachelor of Science in Economics – Financial Management from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, graduating magna cum laude. He is a member of the California Central Coast Estate Planning Council and previously served on the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce’s Economic Development Committee. He is committed to ongoing professional education and staying current on evolving planning strategies, regulatory changes, and industry developments that may create opportunities for clients.
Spencer lives in Pismo Beach with his fiancée, Katie. Outside the office, he enjoys fishing, mountain biking, automotive projects, and taking advantage of all the Central Coast has to offer.

Travis Domingues brings over a decade of experience in the hospitality industry to his role as Financial Planning Associate at Corvus Wealth Advisors and holds his Series 65 license. With a passion for service and a natural affinity for numbers, Travis sees financial planning as a meaningful way to help clients prepare for and celebrate life’s most important milestones.
A graduate of Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a degree in Recreation, Parks, and Tourism Administration, Travis spent his early career coordinating events and managing guest experiences—from weddings to anniversaries and everything in between. Through that work, he discovered his love for building personal connections and supporting others through thoughtful planning. His transition to wealth management was driven by a desire to help clients navigate their financial journeys with the same care and attention to detail that defined his hospitality career.
Travis grew up in Orcutt and has called the Central Coast home his entire life. He and his wife, Grace, live in Arroyo Grande with their two dogs, Remi and Otis—along with the occasional foster pup or pet-sitting guest. Outside the office, you’ll often find Travis on the pickleball courts, enjoying a round of golf, or perfecting his smoked meat recipes from the latest Costco haul.

Leah joined Corvus Wealth Advisors as a Financial Planning Associate, excited to begin her career by combining her passion for serving others with her love of problem-solving. She believes financial planning is a meaningful way to help clients navigate life’s complexities with clarity, confidence, and lasting financial security.
Leah recently graduated summa cum laude from Cal Poly with a degree in Financial Management. While at the Orfalea College of Business, she passed Level I of the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) program and is keen to continue her education as a Level II Candidate. She values the connection between financial planning and investment analysis, recognizing that integrating both creates a stronger foundation for helping clients pursue their financial objectives. Eager to expand her knowledge in wealth management and driven by a commitment to service and integrity, Leah strives to support clients in what matters most.
Leah grew up in Washington State, relocating to San Luis Obispo for college and staying for the outstanding weather. She is now proud to call the Central Coast home and is always looking to explore new aspects of San Luis Obispo County. On the weekends, you can find her reading, practicing hot yoga, attempting to catch waves, or cooking with her friends.

Matthew is a Financial Planning Associate at Corvus Wealth Advisors and holds his Series 65 license. He works closely with the advisory team to develop and implement comprehensive financial plans, helping ensure each client’s strategy is thoughtful, precise, and adaptable over time. With a background in creative strategy, Matthew brings a unique perspective to financial planning, believing that a well-designed plan requires both structure and flexibility—clear goals, disciplined execution, and the ability to adjust as life evolves. For Matthew, the ultimate goal is helping individuals and families translate financial health into long-term stability and peace of mind.
Prior to joining Corvus, Matthew spent more than a decade as a strategist and writer for global organizations including Google, Uber, and Amazon Web Services. In those roles, he specialized in simplifying complex systems and translating them into practical, human-centered insights. Today, he applies that same analytical rigor and communication skill to help clients better understand their financial picture and move forward with purpose.
Matthew lives in Atascadero with his wife, their two sons, and the family dog. He fully embraces the Central Coast lifestyle, spending his free time hiking, running, or riding bikes through the local hills. As avid home cooks, Matthew and his wife enjoy experimenting with new recipes and sharing meals with family and friends.

CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
Among her many duties as Chief Administrative Officer at Corvus Wealth Advisors, Darla manages the firm’s custodial relationships and plays a key role in operations, compliance, and technology. With over two decades in customer service, Darla is highly proficient and prides herself on providing exceptional and friendly service to all our clients.
Darla attended the University of California, Riverside, and majored in Criminal Justice. Upon exiting college, she started her career working for Huntington Beach Police Department as a Police Analyst. After 7 years of public service, Darla relocated to the Central Coast to start a new journey with her husband and young family, and began her journey into the world of finance.
Today, Darla and her husband Ron live in Templeton and have three daughters, Amber, Tiffany and Alysa. Darla and Ron enjoy the beauty of the great outdoors, spending time with family and friends and especially being grandparents to their three grandsons, Dylan, Klay, and Hunter.
Client Service Associate
Arianna, our Client Service Associate, is often one of the first friendly and welcoming voices you’ll hear when calling Corvus Wealth Advisors, and her smile is the first you will see when you visit our San Luis Obispo office. She brings extensive experience in administrative support and human resources across a variety of sectors, including leisure, maintenance, and faith-based organizations. Arianna is committed to providing each client with attentive, personalized, and professional service.
Originally from Southern California, Arianna relocated to the Central Coast over a decade ago with her family, drawn by the area’s relaxed pace and stunning natural beauty. With a heart for helping those in need, she has been involved in the community in a variety of ways. She has worked with youth as a swim coach in Morro Bay and as a Den Leader for Cub Scout Pack 214. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she helped organize and run a local food pantry to support families facing hardship.
Arianna resides on the Central Coast with her beloved husband, Matthew, and their beautiful Lynx Point Siamese cat, Odysseus, affectionately known as Odie B. She is a proud mother of two grown sons (Isaac & Gavin), a lovely daughter-in-law (Elaina), and a beautiful granddaughter (Evangeline), all of whom currently live in the area. When she is not working, Arianna can often be found with her nose in a book or baking delicious confections in the kitchen. She and Matthew enjoy hiking and outdoor adventures, especially exploring new spots along the California coastline. Arianna is also passionate about traveling the world, discovering new places, and experiencing different cultures. DIRECTOR OF RETIREMENT PLAN SERVICES
Stephanie, is the Director of Retirement Plan Service for Corvus Wealth Advisors and acts as the lead advisor guiding many corporate retirement, government agencies and non-profits. Stephanie holds Investment & Wealth Institute, Certified Investment Management Analyst, CIMA® and FINRA Series 65 certification.
Stephanie graduated from Boise State University with a Bachelor of Science in both Political Science and Finance. For over 13 years, Stephanie has served many Central Coast companies and beyond, helping Plan Sponsors create successful retirement plans and support their employees prepare for a meaningful retirement. Stephanie has many community interests, including her involvement with the Templeton Chamber of Commerce board. She has a passion for educating, and has supported the United Way, teaching the Money Talks for Teens, a financial literacy program at local high schools.
Stephanie has competed in the grueling Tough Mudder races to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project, a charity she is passionate about. In addition to appreciating her community, she enjoys watching football, volunteering, and traveling. Stephanie lives in Templeton with her husband, Clayton and her dog Izzy and three rescued cats.

Anthony serves as a Retirement Plan Advisor at Corvus Wealth Advisors. He began his career in retirement plan consulting with a mission: to ensure everyone is well-equipped with the tools necessary for a successful financial future. With his Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation, Anthony is well-prepared to address the intricate needs of Corvus’ retirement plan clients.
As a Retirement Plan Advisor, Anthony specializes in participant plan enrollment and education, plan sponsors fiduciary reviews, retirement plan design, and comprehensive retirement plan consulting. His expertise extends to a variety of plans, including 401(k)s, 403(b)s, 457(b)s, Profit-Sharing & Cash Balance Plans, as well as Non-Qualified Deferred Compensation plans. After graduating from Georgia State University, Anthony spent several years working for a multinational financial services company before coming to work at Corvus Wealth Advisors. Anthony's consulting philosophy is to demystify the complexities of retirement plans, delivering clear and straightforward guidance. He firmly believes that the best retirement plans are the ones that participants understand and can utilize effectively.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Anthony enjoys exploring the scenic Central Coast with his wife, Grace, and young son, Manny, where they are always on the lookout for their next adventure. Anthony also enjoys being actively involved in his community through his church. Anthony is passionate about seeking opportunities to give back to each of the communities he cherishes and is seeking out other opportunities in the community, including connecting with the SLO Chamber of Commerce.
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT & SPANISH INTREPRETER
Emily, our Administrative Assistant, holds NAPA’s Introduction to Retirement, IRP, designation. Emily enjoys expanding and deepening her knowledge of different retirement plans. She strives to provide outstanding support to our retirement partners and plan participants, as well as the Retirement team at Corvus Wealth Advisors. Although Emily has worked in administrative roles across many different industries, this is her first time working in Finance.
A native of Orange County, California, Emily graduated Cum Laude from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and two Minors in French and Spanish. During her studies, Emily’s proficiency in French offered her the opportunity to study abroad in Paris, France for one academic year. She was also inducted into the Phi Sigma Iota International Foreign Language Honor Society in recognition of her foreign language abilities.
Emily moved to the Central Coast two years ago to live with her amazing husband, Jordan. She enjoys the beautiful scenery and strong sense of community throughout the Central Coast’s many small towns. In her free time, she can be found traveling, antiquing with Jordan, singing, playing piano, reading, gardening, and hanging out with her eighteen-year-old cat, Bella.

With over 25 years of experience in business management, Giselle serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Corvus Wealth Advisors. In this role, she is responsible for orchestrating the firm’s business systems, overseeing personnel management, and ensuring an exceptional client experience. Giselle takes pride in collaborating closely with every member of the team, leveraging her talent for organizational strategy to maximize efficiency and deliver a consistently high standard of service.
Giselle graduated cum laude from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts in English. Prior to joining Corvus, she built deep expertise in business operations at an international education company, where she specialized in customizing systems to exceed client expectations and improve organizational performance. She is also a dedicated advocate for empowering women and girls, proudly serving on the Women’s Legacy Fund committee, reflecting her passion for supporting local initiatives and fostering community resilience.
Rooted in the Central Coast community, Giselle lives in Templeton with her husband, Paul, their two children, Ben and Anna, two energetic golden retrievers, and too many cats. Beyond the office, she enjoys cooking and baking, lots of reading, spending time with family and friends, and newly practicing yoga for both mental and physical well-being.

DIRECTOR OF COMPLIANCE AND TECHNOLOGY
Bryan Krill is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® practitioner and serves as Director of Compliance and Technology, bringing more than 25 years of experience in investment operations, regulatory oversight, and financial systems management. Bryan is passionate about building strong, reliable frameworks that support advisors and protect clients, believing that thoughtful compliance and effective technology are essential to creating clarity, consistency, and trust in every client relationship. His professional philosophy is guided by curiosity, assuming positive intent, giving grace, and a focus on what can be controlled—attitude, energy, and focus.
Bryan earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business. Throughout his career, he has held leadership roles at Wacker Wealth Partners, including Managing Member and Chief Operating Officer, as well as Chief Compliance Officer. In these roles, he oversaw the firm’s compliance program, managed portfolio and operational risk, and led the development of technology and reporting platforms that supported both advisors and clients. He also played an integral role in three successful mergers and acquisitions, helping guide teams and systems through periods of growth and transition.
Deeply rooted in the Central Coast community, Bryan lives with his wife, Tessa, and their cat Tony. Outside of work, he enjoys mentoring and coaching track sprinters and spending time with his family. Bryan and Tessa take great pride in raising their three sons, James, John, and Jack, with values centered on curiosity, kindness, and resilience.

INVESTMENT ANALYST
Kate joined Corvus Wealth Advisors with a passion for blending data analytics and economic theory to drive meaningful impact. Kate earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with a minor in Sustainability from San Diego State University. A San Luis Obispo native, she continued her education at Cal Poly, earning a Master’s in Quantitative Economics and developing a strong foundation in empirical problem-solving. At Corvus, Kate applies her expertise as our Investment Analyst and holds her Series 65 License.
Before pursuing graduate studies, Kate served as an AmeriCorps volunteer, working with local nonprofits to promote sustainability and environmental stewardship on the Central Coast. During her graduate studies, Kate worked as a consultant for the World Bank, using machine learning to analyze gender disparities in public transportation. Their findings helped inform policies to improve women’s safety in India, a project that showcased the real-world impact of their skills.
Outside the office, Kate enjoys staying active by hiking, surfing, camping, and playing beach volleyball—a sport she played competitively during college. Kate is honored to grow her career at Corvus while giving back to the community she is happy to call home.
